the blog post images are odd and pixelated I have it set to thumbnails but they are not showing as thumbnails

Hello,

Image size of Image Gallery element works in this way http://prntscr.com/mo0ikv > http://prntscr.com/mo0ip9 > http://prntscr.com/mo0it2
You can set image size in px or “full” in settings of the Gallery element.

those settings are correct it is not displaying properly thats why i mentioned it not viewing properly

Hello,

Image Gallery element is default one and will work in the same way even with a default theme, XStore doesn’t affect it.
Try to change “thumbnail” to “large” or “full” size. If this is not what you are looking for, describe the desired result in more details, please.

the type of display was the issue, it is now set to image grid and that makes the thumbnail at the thumbnails defined by media page on site
