Hi there, we are having an issue with the variable products. First of all in the attributes area the “Save attribute” button is always faded out, as it is not available (image Attributes-01.jpg), but if you click on it it works. The main issue is in the Variations section where the buttons “Generate variations” and “Add manually” simply do not work when you click on them (image Variations-01.jpg).

On the front end now, in the store view when showing the sizes we get the view in the attached image Variations-Frontend-01.jpg, where the sizes seem to be displayed in alphabetical order L, M, S, XL, XS and not in the order that they are stored in the product variations section XS, S, M, L, XL which is the logical way to display. Is this some setting that we are missing or something else? Also, while we have selected in the Customizer for the Variation swatches to display a cross line for swatches that are out of stock, we do not get this on the front end.

We have included login credentials in the secret area, if needed. Also feel free to make changes to products for testing purposes as this is not the final staging site but more like a roadmap for us until the final switch over.

That’s it for now, probably as we continue the migration we may have things to look at, thank you

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello, Kostas,

Thank you for choosing XStore as your WooCommerce WordPress theme.

1/ You have not provided URL of product, so we’ve checked a random product and we do not see mentioned problems – https://prnt.sc/0sq8MEuEPa51 https://prnt.sc/0gtVHKOphR1k

2/ “….which is the logical way to display” – we recommend that you contact the support team of the WooCommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/ , because there are no additional settings for this from our theme side, unfortunately.

3/ “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” needs to be enabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

Hello Rose, for starters thanks for the tip on the inventory, its working like a charm now.

About the order of the size swatches its the first time we have encountered such a problem on a woocommerce site and its very weird, on all the woocommerce eshops we have worked on we have never encountered something like this before, we will investigate further with woocommerce.

Now about the Attributes and Variations buttons, we are having this problem on every product and when we try to create a new product. We have noticed that the screenshot that you have provided is different from the view we are having. When we edit the product, for example https://dev.regel.gr/product/element-basic-pocket-t-shirt/ and go to the Variations area we get a screen that looks like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OufxUqMV73do2Itbwo47lNVHdO4ATkFO/view?usp=sharing having that area in green that basically says that there are no variations for the product, although they are listed directly below! Do you have any idea what this is? And why are we only seeing it?

    Thank you

    Hello, Kostas,

    Thank you for your response.

Here is what we can see on your site – https://prnt.sc/t8A-jxW5SMf4
Do you use the latest version of the Chrome browser? Try to disable additional extensions for your browser and clear cache. Try to check how it works from other browsers.

Try to activate the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront and test Variations then. We do not know why you see it in such a way, unfortunately, but we suppose that this situation is independent of our theme.

    Kind Regards,

Hello Rose, after a lot of try and error, disabling plugins ant themes etc we seem to have found a solution, wich is not the best I believe. The problem with the attributes and the variations buttons not working was solved by disabling the XStore child theme ver 1.0 !
So we deleted the child theme, downloaded the files from envato and reinstalled the child theme, that now shows version 0.0.1, and had the same exact problem. When again disabling the child theme, both attribute and variation buttons work fine with no problems and we have the same screen view as you do.
We do not understand this behavior and although the use of a child theme is not mandatory we do consider it as standard procedure. Any ideas what is going on here?

    Thank you

    Hello Kostas,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, it is a really strange situation.
Please try to do the next, go to Theme Options > Export/Import > export settings in file, then activate XStore child theme (new one 0.0.1), go to Theme Options, and import settings from the parent theme. Check how it works then. Do not forget to clear all cache (from cache plugin, browser, server, and CDN).

    Kind Regards,
