Issue with Plugin & Deprecated Notices – Request for Support

    Hi,

    I recently purchased the XStore | Multipurpose WooCommerce Theme from ThemeForest. After installing and activating the theme, I noticed several warning and deprecated notices appearing on my WordPress dashboard. These seem to be related to plugins that were bundled with the theme (e.g., RightPress – Dynamic Pricing and Discounts, and others).

    Here are a few of the notices I’m getting:

    Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property…

    Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly…

    These messages suggest that the theme or bundled plugins are using outdated functions not fully compatible with the current WordPress or PHP version (I’m using PHP [insert your version]).

    Since these plugins are included with the theme, I believe it’s the theme author’s responsibility to ensure compatibility and proper integration. Could you please:

    Confirm whether these plugins will be updated soon?

    Provide a fix or guidance to prevent these notices from displaying?

    Assist with registering the theme if needed?

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hello,

    We have received the wp-admin access you provided; however, we still require the URL of your site and FTP access as well. Please note that wp-admin and FTP access are two different things.

    Kindly contact your hosting provider and request them to create FTP access for your website:
    – FTP Host
    – FTP Username
    – FTP Password
    – FTP Port

    Since the process of obtaining FTP access has taken some time, to prevent the notices from distracting you, we recommend temporarily disabling the debug mode. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here:

    The notices shown in your first screenshot are not critical and are related to the latest WordPress update. The simplest solution would be to disable the debug mode, which you can do by following the instructions provided in the article above, or you may contact your hosting provider for assistance.

    Please review the attached files — we have identified which specific files from third-party plugins are responsible for the problem (details are included in the attachments).

    Dear XStore Support Team,

    I previously reported an issue regarding deprecated notices and warnings appearing in my WordPress dashboard after installing the XStore theme and its bundled plugins.

    Your initial response suggested the issue might be due to another theme being active. To rule that out, I created a completely new WordPress installation, installed only the XStore theme, and activated it properly. Despite this clean setup, I am still seeing the same PHP deprecation and function notices, such as:

    Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property…

    Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly…

    This indicates the problem is not related to conflicting themes or third-party plugins, but likely due to incompatibilities with the latest PHP and WordPress versions (I’m using PHP [insert version, e.g., 8.2]).

    I have registered the theme correctly and expect that the included plugins and theme files are maintained to ensure compatibility with modern environments.

    Please confirm:

    Whether an update is planned to address these deprecated notices.

    If there is a workaround or fix I can apply in the meantime.

    Why I haven’t received a response yet despite following up.

    Thank you for your patience, and please accept our apologies for the delay in response. Kindly note that our reply times may vary and can take up to 24 hours from Monday to Friday, and up to 48 hours during weekends (Saturday–Sunday).

    We appreciate you providing access to the development site. However, we noticed that the login credentials for the admin panel were not included. The login details you provided for the live site do not work for the development site.

    We have made modifications to the following file:

    wp-content/themes/xstore/framework/features/woocommerce/progress-bar.php

    As a result, the error originating from our theme has been resolved. Please check and confirm on your end.

    Additionally, we will reach out to the developers of the WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts plugin to request that they address the issue from their side, as we are unable to make changes to third-party products.

    Please note that the changes we made will be included in the next theme update.
