Is filebird pro the basic version or pro version?

Hello 8theme team

Just wondering if filebird is the basic version or the pro version (from the plugins added on x-store)?

We tried to update the plugin but it gave an error and it did not and gave the message; An error occurred while updating FileBird Pro: Update package not available.

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiry regarding the FileBird plugin included with the XStore theme.

The plugins included with our theme are external. We have purchased an Extended License for each of these plugins. They are fully functional and should run perfectly.
The latest plugin versions are always available. You can find them in the theme folder, and you can get them directly from us. Simply log in to your account on our site ( http://www.8theme.com/my-account/), go to the https://www.8theme.com/downloads/ page, enter your purchase code, and you’ll be granted access to the appropriate archives.
Registration of these plugins is not necessary. They will function perfectly without any need for activation.
The plugin activation option was added only for those who need to get automatic updates and support directly from plugin developers. If you need this option, you will first need to purchase and register the plugin.

To update the plugin, please try the next way:
– go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose plugin (downloaded from https://www.8theme.com/downloads) > Install now > click on “Replace current with uploaded” and the plugin will be updated on your site.

Hi Rose,

So the added plugins will update when they are uploaded (the file) and not the normal way of just clicking the update button is what we are assuming?

Also, are the plugins provided by x-store the pro versions? (is filebird, the pro version)?

Thank you for your response.

The normal way to update bundled plugins is described in our documentation – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update (XStore > Plugin Installer > hover over the plugin and click on Update).

About the plugin version, we have purchased an Extended License for FileBird plugin, so it can be used by our customers.
Do you mean you find something that is missing in the current plugin version but should be in Pro?

1) Thank you for sharing this, we did not know that this was the way to update the bundled products.
