    Hi, I’m in the proces of optimising my webpages and came across many “Invalid CSS property declaration” in the console window: http://screencast.com/t/D8vJ3o2aNNcW
    When I click on it I see this asterik:

    .clearfix {
    *zoom: 1;
    }

    Can you tell me I it’s an error, by design since a * shouldn’t be in the property section?
    Thx.

    Hello,

    This is the “star property hack” that IE browsers ignores (the * works up to IE 7). You can remove star and save changes.

    Okay, that’s almost 7 years ago… let’s move on 😉 Takes up resources.

    Shouldn’t I remove the whole line after the star as well?

    You can try it, but please do this in Child Theme to avoid some CSS troubles.
