    Hi!

I just bought this theme a couple weeks back and am finally getting a chance to work with it. Maybe it has something to do with having Visual Composer, but when on the wordpress dashboard, if I click on Customize under the Appearance tab, I get the following error:
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I am using a temp down splash page while working on the theme. My host upped the memory, I tried the Htaccess file…now should I be customizing via Visual Composer? If so…pointers would be greatly appreciated as this is my first go around with VC.

    Thanks for any insight!

    Hello,

Sorry, but Internal Server Error is related to server configuration.
How to work with Visual Composer please read here:
    http://www.wpexplorer.com/visual-composer-guide/
You need edit your pages in wp-admin panel > Pages section, use backend editor of Visual Composer and add elements to the page.

Thank you so much for checking. I will contact my host to discuss the server configuration.

I appreciate the information about visual composer. I will start working with it to get more familiar!

    Hi Eva,

I wanted to check with you on what my Host is saying…they are telling me I need to upgrade to a high powered VPS account since they have topped out my php memory at 128. Do I need more than that to support the theme to not get a server config error? I’m not getting the error with other themes, but I figured 128 is plenty. I appreciate your input…I’m considering switching hosting providers right now since they want to charge $20/month to upgrade my account.

    Thanks,
    Kris

    Hello,

Our theme may use more memory than others because of different features and plugins that are implemented in the theme.
It would be better upgrade to VPS or add more memory limit value to get the issue fixed.

    Thanks, Eva!

Can you give me specific amount of memory to add for the woopress theme? I’m trying to avoid VPS costs. Thanks!
