We sometimes have the need for a link on a page to smooth scroll down the same page to an #anchor, or link to another page with a smooth scroll down to an #anchor.

Can you advise on how best to achieve both results (accounting for the floating header too) thanks! So far really liking this theme.

    Hello,

You may use one-page navigation feature to do this.

Go to Appearance > Menus create menus with Custom Links to items with anchors, fill in URL (url to page with anchor) and Anchor fields, for example http://prntscr.com/cebhlb

Edit page and add Row ID for the section with scroll http://prntscr.com/cebi2x
Scroll down to Page settings and enable one-page navigation and choose your menu as Custom menu http://prntscr.com/cebig9

Do the same for the next page with section.

    Regards

hi, thanks for providing input for “one-page navigation” and menu specific functionality, now can you address the question about a link on a page (the link is text in the body of the page, not a menu item)

    Hello,

I see. Unfortunately, there is no such option in our theme.

hm. powerful theme, should have (IMO) a smooth scroll feature, whereby links on a single page (non menu) upon click can smooth scroll to another area on that page or a different one. please put the feature request in. I’ve seen other premium themes do it so that a link with /#!/anchorname would work.

    Hello,

I’ll send your request to our developers’ team and probably we’ll implement it in one of our next updates.

    Regards

    Hello,

No, we did not add it. You may look for third-party plugins to implement this.
