Installing latest plugins manually - by Jonathan

Hi. I have downloaded the latest version of Visual Composer and Master Slider from the downloads section. How do I install them in the theme to overwrite the older version?

Hello,

you need to delete old versions of plugins and upload latest in Dashboard > Plugins

If you will encounter problems with this – please provide us with admin and FTP credentials for your site in private content and we will update required plugins for you.

I did this and now when I try edit one of my pages the Visual composer logo just flashes and doesn’t actually show any of my content! It’s all gone??!?!

Never mind, I cleared my cache and tried again and it seems to be okay. Question though, I was hoping it would resolve my image issue. On another theme that also comes with Visual composer, I can set the image to have round borders or be in a circle or square etc. but the Visual Composer with Royal doesn’t let you do that. Is there a particular reason for this? I thought these options were standard with Visual Composer?

I am still working locally and it isn’t available online to view unfortunately. Do you need to go look in order to answer my Visual Composer image question?
