Installation Job - by esquipulas - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi,

    We bought the woopress template installed on http://v2.esquipulas.fr/ for the moment (you can consider http://v2.esquipulas.fr/ as a pre-prod instance) to change apparence of main eCommerce website which is http://etienda.esquipulas.fr/ (WordPress / Woocommerce)

    Wonder to know if you could manage following job :

    Responsive (desktop, tablet, smartphone) installation of this variant of theme https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/handmade/ (included in the package we bought) with some customization of home page / product page and shop list page (https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/handmade/shop/), installation of timeline (https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/handmade/timeline/), all in a child template obviously ;

    Running the french translation of theme (assuming I provide the fr.po file) ;

    Diagnostic and improve performance (website speed seems to be very slow comparing to http://etienda.esquipulas.fr/ ; could be effect of template and/or some add-ons) (see here http://www.esquipulas.fr/boutique/transferts/breakdown.png a graphic detailled breakdown got by P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler)

    All content is yet loaded on backoffice. Maybe some adaptions to do to pictures. Something to see working on the project.

    Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in private content.

    Hi Eva, need time for FTP access, waiting for my sysadmin creation of a specific one (just have the root one for the moment). WP-admin is in private content.

    Hi Eva, here are the credentials in private content. My sysadmin told me that all is very solw and could be due to the template or some addons included with it. Please give me a feedback about that also.

    Hello,

    I’ve installed HandMade template. Please check.
    Products page is shown incorrectly because you removed “woocommerce” folder in wp-content/themes/woopress directory. I tried to upload it but couldn’t do this because is this error:
    Error: mkdir /wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce: permission denied

    So you need reupload “woocommerce” folder from the theme package yourself.

    I’ve imported TimeLine page. You can find it in Pages section of wp-admin panel.

    Hello, thanks for being so quick. Don’t understand : I have yet my own woocommerce plugin running on the site from wp-content>plugins so do I have to upload an other folder in the theme or to move the one I have from plugins to woopress ?? A little bit losted sorry.

    Hello,

    The folder “woocommerce” in wp-content/themes/woopress directory is used by the theme and we customized some Woocommerce files there to make products styled properly with the theme. But if you remove it default Woocommerce style is used and as you can see your products are displayed incorrectly. So please upload “woocommerce” folder from the theme package (not the one in wp-content/plugins directory) to wp-content/themes/woopress.

    I’m worried about having two woocommerce add-on for the same website, not a risk of some conflicts beetween them ?

    ok Eva, thanks for all that. I’m checking my server, seems to be too small to support template and add ons included, all v2 website and admin panel are very slow. Do you have any minimal configuration requested for your template ?
