Installation Issues: Upload via wp-admin and FTP both not working

Hey, I recently purchased the theme and have encountered a strange problem. When uploading the royal_theme.zip folder via wp-admin the page redirects to an error stating ‘The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.’

Further, while trying to install via FTP, the extracted ‘Royal’ folder from the above-mentioned zip folder does not copy to the themes subfolder under wp-content folder.

Request you to help me find a solution for the same asap.

Sorry for the delay due to the weekends.
Please, make sure you have checked all the server requirements before the installation – http://prntscr.com/jqit53 https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/
In your case, upload_max_filesize should be increased. Ask your hosting provider support about help with this.

If you have downloaded the whole theme package, you will find there such files after extracting: Royal_Theme.zip file which is the WordPress theme, Translation files folder, Documentation folder, Patterns, PSD folder, Files for import. Choose Royal_Theme.zip file to install the theme via admin panel.

Hello,

Thank you for your support, have been able to successfully increase Upload_Max_SizeFile & Memory_Limit however now while uploading the Royal_Theme.zip file via wp-admin the page redirects to ‘The link you followed has expired’, also via FTP I still cannot copy the file to the required destination.

Hello Rose,

The same has been increased to 64MB earlier itself, however, I have contacted my hosting provider for help regarding the same.

As I can see the Max_upload_sizefile to be 64MB but as per the staus it showcases 8MB. Will get back to you once I receive an update from my hosting provider.
