    Hi guys,

I am downloading the XStore zip file and uploading via WordPress themes in the dashboard in uploading a new theme. I finally got to where it gives me the 8 Store options page but after I set all of that up and chose the “Pizza” XStore theme, I error out: http://rust.warnckeoutdoors.com/. This is a development site and no it is not a huge deal but I worked all weekend trying to get the theme installed correctly with no luck and several tries at installing. I had gone to install the theme via FTP but could not extract the files correctly from the zip file so I couldn’t upload all of the files from the extracted zip file. I am using Windows 10. I have never had quite this much trouble installing a theme so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay in answering. Have you installed and activated all the required plugins (Appearance > Install Plugins)? https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins

Looks that WPBakery page builder is not installed or activated but you have the code of that plugin on that page and got the fatal error.

Why can’t you install theme via Dashboard? Does your server meet theme requirements, notably upload_max_filesize: 20M, or greater? https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-xstore-theme-requirements

Also, we can help you with theme and version installation if you provide Dashboard and FTP access to your site.

    Regards

Thank you for getting back with me. I can upload the theme on the WP Dashboard but it either errors out or gives me fits that it didn’t install properly. I must have tried a dozen times. Most recently:

    “Unpacking the package…

    Could not create directory. xstore/framework/thirdparty/options-framework/extensions/table_opener/table_opener”

Every time it gives me a different error and I am only installing the Theme version 4.25 zip file.

I tried to install required plug-ins, which is normally very easy. Not this time with Redux Framework. Here is the error I received when I tried to install that one:
“Installation failed: Could not create directory. redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/fields/divide”

Again, I could do this through FTP but can’t seem to unpack the zip file without striking out with errors when unpacking on my PC. Log in details for both FTP and WP Admin are in Private Content.

Thanks for you help and support!

    Hello, @Dustin_Warncke

If you can’t install theme and also default plugin (Redux or any other) because get the error during installation then you need to contact your hosting provider to fix this. You should not get any errors if you trying to install any default WP plugin.
Once your hosting provider fixes the problem with your installation then reply back.

    Regards

    Hello, @gvaldivieso

You can deactivate theme from Theme Options http://prntscr.com/jd97s3 And then you can activate the theme for other domain.

    Regards
