Instagram not updating in Xstore theme footer

The 8theme Instagram widget in my footer is not updating with the most recent images.

I keep thinking it will get fixed when I update the theme, core, and plugins but still Instagram is not updating in the footer. I can change the number of images and columns but the feed never gets past 2018. When I change to another username as a test then the instagram images are more recent.

Seems that this problem of instagram feed not working has crept back in.

It now says, “Instagram has returned invalid data.”

Please advise.

Hello,

Instagram made some changes in their code and we are working to create the Instagram widget from scratch using their API. It will take some time.
Install and use the third-party plugin to display Instagram Feeds, for example, Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed.

In 6.0 version of XStore, we added “Instagram Feed for XStore Dashboard panel” http://prntscr.com/prs3e1 The latest theme version is 6.1.5 and Core plugin – 1.4.5 Because you are using old versions, I would recommend doing next updates on a staging site (full copy of the existing one) first. There are a lot of changes were done – https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/ If everything is ok then you’ll be able to update the production site. Do not update the Core plugin before the theme update + you need to be sure that PHP version is 7.0 or 7.2 on your site.
