Instagram feed won't load - by Divites

Hi,

As of today the Instagram feed stopped working. It gives back: Instagram has returned invalid data.

Could you please help me sorting this out. Can it be something related to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/stopped-working-today-instagram-has-returned-invalid-data/

Hello,

We’ve sent wp-instagram-widget.php file to your registration emails.
You need to replace this file in xstore/framework/widgets/ folder and wait for 2 hours when instagram cache will be updated.

Hello @hdowthwaite,

You use old theme version. I would recommend you to update the theme https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update and then replace the wp-instagram-widget.php file.

Hi, This still isn’t working and I have updated the theme to 4.21.1 and then overwritten the file supplied. I have waited 2 hours and still no change.

Please clear all cache (browser, plugin, server cache) and check one more time. Do you use CDN? Could you please provide temporary FTP access in Private Content?

Hello @hdowthwaite,

The problem caused by changes in xstore-child/framework/widgets/wp-instagram-widget.php file. With the parent theme activated, the Instagram works fine, so you need to compare 2 files and add the missing code to your child theme file.
