is it possible to test the theme on another site?
I would also like to know how much a possible second license costs

You can use 1 license for 1 project(dev and production sites) according to ThemeForest license policy https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
License costs $39 at this moment, unfortunately, we don’t have discounts for the multiple licenses.
