When you browse a category, 12 products appear, and when you scroll down, 12 products are continuously loaded. It gets into a loop. And if you get it to load only 12 more products, it scrolls down and skips products to view. This only happens on the mobile version.

On the desktop version, it works fine because it loads the first 12 products and then loads the next 12, allowing you to continue viewing.

I’ve set up infinite scroll in XStore Builders > Products Archive > Edit > Edit Archive Products > Navigation > Infinite Scroll

In the private section you can see a video with the problem.

    Hello @Crashraider,

We have tested the issue on our iphone devices and were unable to replicate the problem. Could you please confirm whether you are using an iPhone or an Android device for testing? Additionally, have you had the opportunity to check the functionality on other devices?

As a potential solution, we recommend enabling the “Load More” button for loading products instead of using infinite scroll. This approach may help prevent the issue on certain devices.

We kindly ask you to activate the “Load More” button option and verify if the issue persists.

    Best regards,

I use Android. The problem occurs on my Android phone and on my computer using Chrome with developer options and mobile view, as you can see in the video.

If I select the “Load More” option as you describe, it still doesn’t work properly. It loads the first 12 items, and when you click the “Load More” button, it loads 12 products at the top, but you’re still positioned on the “Load More” button. If you click it again, it loads another 12 products. In the end, you have 36 products loaded, but you’re still at the bottom, and you don’t know where you were.

The logical thing would be that when you click the “Load More” button or infinite scroll, it loads 12 products at the bottom, but it leaves you in the same position so you can view the next 12 products.

    Hello @Crashraider,

We hope this message finds you well.

Following a series of tests and tried few solutions, we were unfortunately unable to identify the exact cause of the issue in your specific case. As a temporary solution, we have enabled the “Pagination Type” for product navigation on your web-site.

We conducted tests on our own website and did not encounter any issues, as shown in the following gif: https://gyazo.com/845b297053f94ee1ce33244f1a52b695. This suggests that the issue may be related to a unique structure or specific settings on your shop page, which we have not yet been able to determine.

At this time, the most suitable solution appears to be using AJAX pagination. This will also ensure that the page scrolls to the top when navigating through paginated pages. Please refer to the private area for further details.

We’ve already tested and found that Ajax pagination works fine, but we want to use Infinite Scroll or the “Load More” button. We have all plugins disabled, only WooCommerce and XStore, and it keeps happening, so we assume the problem is with your theme.

We need a solution or some guidance on what’s wrong. We can pay for the solution; that’s not a problem.

The problem is with the “Product Archive” page I created in XStore Builder. I imported a new one and it now works correctly.

    Thanks
