Incorporating different elements from homepages

Hi – I’ve been using Legenda home page 1 for a long time (since 2014) and I wanted to make some changes by incorporating elements of the other homepages I like. Is there a way to see specifically how I could do the following:
1. Add a section similar to “Latest from the blog” on home page 7. Is this a static block? How can I find the code/example to add or alter my existing home page?
2. Similarly with home page 3 the ‘Store categories’ block.
3. How do I get the thumbnail images in recent posts (for example in home page 3)?

2) We used Product categories element https://prnt.sc/112emh2

We used Recent posts widget https://prnt.sc/112eoki
