    Hi there,

I wanted to ask about the social media buttons.. On QuickView and Blog they are labelled ‘SOCIAL’ but on Wishlist they are labelled ‘SHARE ON:’. Also, the style of the button changes. On QuickView, the buttons are grey with a red rollover. On Wishlist, the buttons are individually coloured with a grey rollover. On Blog posts the buttons are grey with a coloured rollover. Finally the buttons appear in a different order across these pages.

We would like to use the term ‘SHARE ON’ rather than ‘SOCIAL’. We have no preference regards the style of button but are just looking for consistency across the site. Any help appreciated!

    Hello,

You can change “Social” text in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/shortcodes.php (line 1244).

    Many thanks Eva.

That works for product and blog pages, but not the wishlist. Is there another piece of code that we need to edit so the text is consistent throughout the site?

Also, the second part of my question was about the inconsistent style of the buttons, which change from QuickView to Wishlist to blog pages. Is this something we just have to live with or is there anything that can be done so the buttons don’t keep changing in colour and style?

    Best wishes, Andrea

    Hello,

To change text for social icons on Wishlist page you need edit Wishlist plugin file class.yith-wcwl-ui.php (line 145) in the directory wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist.

The social buttons are different on Wishlist page and Blog page. If you want to use similar buttons on all pages you should disable default Wishlist icons in wp-admin panel > YIT Plugins > Wishlist > Settings > Social Networks & Share > uncheck social icons and use some plugin to add social media icons for all pages. Also in this case you have to disable our icons in Theme Options > Single Product Page > Show share buttons > Off and Theme Options > Blog Layout > Show Share buttons > Off.

    Regards,

Ok, many thanks Eva! I will try that.

But, I’d suggest for the next version of the theme, some consistency is built in. I didn’t notice it at first, but it is a little weird how the label, typography and style of the social media buttons is totally different across the product, blog, and wishlist pages..

    Best wishes, Andrea
