Dear 8Theme,
I have made a purchase of Royal Theme Royal – Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme (http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976), for $58 through the envato website where I often buy themes, have installed the site and have been working on the theme for 2 days now.
One aspect I have spent significant time on is working out which displays are created by which shortcodes (or items within Visual Composer).
It occurred to me that in fact most layout items in the demos are specific to add-ons or extensions, which appear to be connected with additional in-app purchases – not included with the product I bought and assesed at Envato and through your demos. Two aspects seem connected to this: Ultimate Add Ons, and Brainstorm – both of which seem to be required separately to do most things presented in the demos. Not sure whether these two are acquired thru the same purchase yet.
After trying to activate these features using my provided product license and APIs set up through envato, each upgrade or add on page indicates that my product license key is invalid.
I have contacted Envato about this. Initially their response is that this is probably something I need to take up with you and their assumption is that in fact I have not purchased access to these items. I have written back with reasons as to why Envato should also be concerned with this. In the meantime I am writing to you to raise this issue.
Can I please get confirmation on what is going on here and start by communicating that I am extremely concerned that I have been shown a product and then prompted with an in-theme purchase beyond they product I have assessed and bought. Or am I missing something?
