Import page from demo site into my site - by Teal

HI there, we have customised our version of X-store, but I want to create nice landing pages like you have in the Headphones Demo theme. Is it possible to import one page from the demo site and use it within my site?

We have the normal single product page for each product, within the various categories, which we would continue to use, but would use this new landing page template for products we are featuring or pushing, with add to cart etc.

Can you let me know if this is possible and how I would go about it

Do you use WPBakery or Elementor?
Provide URL and temporary wp-admin access, we will add the mentioned page on your site.

Hi There,

I tried, but the page I want is in the Elementor area. Can I install Elementor on my site as well as WPBakery? Then I can do the import using Elementor?

I tried one of the other demos (e-scooter), which imported OK. I was looking for a good landing page for individual products, so wanted the buy now button etc. but that hasn’t come through with the import. I would still prefer the landing page on the headphones demo if that is possible, but is only in Elementor.

Hello,

We have only Elementor version of the headphones demo. You can edit that page using Elementor page builder only. You can keep 2 page builders enabled on your site but it will slow down the page speed. And you can edit page using only that page builder that was used to create page content. Mean that you can’t use WPBakery to edit the Elementor page.
You can add Buy now button using the button element with any page builder and add the link you need for that button.

Hi There,

Can I import the page in Elementor like I can with WPBakery? The Headphones one is much better for what we need. If I have both page builders activated it will slow down the site, but if I make changes with Elementor and then deactivate, will it still slow the site down?

I want to bring in some of the product information from the product file, like variations, price etc. which I can see in the headphones landing page, but not in the e-scooter landing page.

I would like to have add to cart button and buy now button like in the headphones landing page, but can’t see how to add those with the button element in WPBakery.

Hello,

You can’t import content of the page and then disable page builder because then page content will be broken.

But I checked the Headphones demo and see that it’s available for both builders https://prnt.sc/1zt4iac So, you may import the WPBakery version if you need it.

That’s great, thanks, hadn’t noticed that.

Do you know how we get the floating buy now button as that didn’t come through with the import.

I assume I add a widget, but not sure which one and then what link I give it to add to cart or buy now for that specific product.

There is a floating buy now button and also an add to cart button.

I would like to know how we create the floating button and what link to add to it.

If I create the landing page for one product that is also in our shop, what link do I add to the button?

Also, The Black pannel on the right hand side would be good to implement, but that diodn’t come through when I imported the page.

Hello,

Oh, that buy now button and black panel at the right side are just for our customers to allow them to buy the theme and show features that theme includes (video tutorials, XStore studio, list of demos). It’s not the part of theme or demo site. That’s custom thing for demonstration purposes only, it’s not theme feature, unfortunately.

Can you help me with linking a landing page product to a product already in the system and has a normal product page?

I want to create some specific landing pages for products with variation information and add to cart button like the following screenshot. https://prnt.sc/1zzm0cv

But I don’t know what links etc to use.

I just tried adding the product page within the headphone template and it now just shows the product with an error message, nothing else.

If I try to add a product in the add product section, the page looks like this –

Hello,

1) Add the element or tell me what element do you add that causes the fatal error. Because at this moment page works ok.

2) Maybe you have any blocks for the connections from the other countries.
