  If I import the demo data on an existing blog (with about 100 existing posts) will it overwrite or mess up my blog posts that are already there?

  Just want to be sure before I try it. I wan to get the home page payouts from the demos.

  Hello,
  you can import Demo content for your site without any problems as only few demo blog posts are included in Demo Content. They can be easily removed after Demo data installation.
