My frustration level is at an all time high.

Installed the theme, go to install demo content. Get a long laundry list of “failed to import”, whether it’s from the “install demo content” button or from installing the sample page.

I’ve been back and forth with the highest level support, they say it’s with the theme.

I’ve made sure all the plugins are installed properly first.
I’ve made sure that the allow_url_fopen function is enabled by the host.

No dice. Also, you don’t have a raw version of the .xml file to upload manually — I’ve looked everywhere.

I really need to get this sorted out ASAP. Please help, thanks. I’ve included login info.

    Hello,

We’ve imported for you all pages manually – http://i.imgur.com/96QyQdO.png
To use these pages you need navigate to Settings->Reading->Front page and select what you want to use.
Also you need to check the settings with your host. Because this should work well.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hi Robert,

Thank you so much, really appreciate it. Two follow up questions:

    1. I want to go with the Full Width template, which you’ve already installed here. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, the five blocks that should appear above the store offer are not appearing. I’ve screenshotted that for you. Can you advise on how to get that functioning? I see it in the visual composer, but not on the site.

    2. What should I reference with the host regarding settings? I’ve been all the way to top tier support, and they say there’s nothing wrong with it and that it should work fine. I’d like to get to the bottom of it so I don’t have the problem in the future.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    1. I’ve uploaded missed imaged for banners. Please check the page now.
    2. Very likely that file_get_contents() function is disabled in the server configuration. It caused problems with default import. Please ask your host to check it.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Hello, I have the kinda same issue.

The import looks like being added successfully but there is nothing added.

Do I need to open a new thread for this?

    Hello @th00ghtless,

Please check at your host if allow_url_fopen function is enabled.
It must be activated to be able to import files.
If you can’t import though the function is enabled then please provide us with wp-admin panel and FTP credentials in Private Content.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello @th00ghtless,

Sorry, but I don’t see any rules added to .htaccess file concerning allow_url_fopen function.
Please ask your host to enable it via php.ini file. Also increase values for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize as well as for memory_limit.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello @dayv,

I’ve imported the pages and they are called “Lookbook”, “Full Width”, “Sidebar”, “One Page”, but some content can be missed because you don’t have products to display as you didn’t install Woocommerce plugin.
You can change the content to your own or install Woocommerce plugin.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
