    I’m trying to get an image to go from edge to edge of a container in my sidebar but I can’t seem to locate the padding or margin that is controlling it. Is there anyway you can look at it and help me out? It is the blue & green image that says “edge events” and “edge deals” on this page: http://edgewater.infocus-llc.com/?page_id=13

    Also, when I add the sidebar to the pages it makes the footer cut off on the sides. Not sure if you can see why that is happening, but I have to figure out how to fix it.

    Hello,

    Please try to add following code into custom.css file.

    .sidebar .vc_custom_1424363723666{
    padding-left: 0;
    padding-right: 0;
    }

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Great! That fixed my first issue! What about the footer behaving oddly when I add a sidebar to the page? The black footer is supposed to extend all the way across the page but when I put the sidebar on the page, it cuts off as if it is in the boxed format. http://edgewater.infocus-llc.com/?page_id=13
