Hi,

May I ask how to set the hover effect of an image?

I tried to use contrast. But it is not exactly what I want.

I want a layer that is 50% transparent. How can I set it?

Or is there any other element that I can use?

Hello,

Any of these examples https://massive.mpcthemes.net/single-image/ can be imported via Massive panel > Style Presets > Image, then you will be able to select the Preset in settings of Image element – http://prntscr.com/rbdjf4

Of course I know, but the presets are useless because they are not exactly what I want.

I tried to import “3 V7, Dark Overlay, Simple button”, then I changed the overly from icon to an image, but the layer effect is gone.

So please, how can I create a layer that is 50% transparent, and using an image as the overlay?

This is the effect I want, except the overlay is not “view image”, but another image.

Hello,

If you want to use images with dark overlay I would recommend you to use Media grid element that allows creating the design for the element http://prntscr.com/rbg1vj
And create grid design with dark hover effect https://gyazo.com/583fa18ba2518a511bbf4221d8a9de28

Please, not just dark overlay, if you take a look at the page, you will see the overlay must be an image with text.

Hello,

1) Do you want to show the same image on the hover as the default one or different?
2) Should be the same text for all the images of the different images should have different text on hover?
3) How many images do you need on the page with this layout?

1. Yes. The hover image (overlay) is just the same image with text

2. Different image with different text

3. At least 10

Ok, if text should be different and manually added then grid is not solution for you. Then use image and add text what you need to appropriate field http://prntscr.com/rbw44b
