    I am using your woopress at the domain name listed below

    To start my focus is to work on the home page

    ——————-

    For the home page “Post Grid”:

    1- For the filter, how do I add other styles? How about no styling, just text with no fillings or borders?

    2- For blog post “Hover Block”, is it possible to add HTML?

    3- For the section below the “Featured Image”, I need to get rid of all these gaps and tighten the spaces between all the rows

    4- Where you see the smiling face icon I would need to have photo of the author with a link to the authors page

    5- For the text section “Mya Bee”, I would need to have the name of the author. I do not know the relevant “Field key name”

    6- Where you see text “Tag1 Tag2 Tag3” I would need real tags to show

    7- For the heart icon, I would like to have a “Heart” button so users can “favorite” their desired articles and then be able to see it in a relevant page or category

    Hello,

    1. Please add this code in custom.css file:

    .vc_grid-filter.vc_grid-filter-filled.vc_grid-filter-color-purple > .vc_grid-filter-item.vc_active, .vc_grid-filter.vc_grid-filter-filled.vc_grid-filter-color-purple > .vc_grid-filter-item {
        background-color: transparent;
    }

    .vc_grid-filter.vc_grid-filter-filled.vc_grid-filter-color-purple > .vc_grid-filter-item.vc_active > span, .vc_grid-filter.vc_grid-filter-filled.vc_grid-filter-color-purple > .vc_grid-filter-item > span {
      color: black;
    }

    How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    2. Could you please clarify what you want to do. Show us a screenshot for better understanding.

    3. Use this code in custom.css:

    .vc_gitem-post-data {
        margin-bottom: 0px;
    }
    .vc_gitem-zone hr {
        margin-top: 0px;
        margin-bottom: 0px;
    }
    .vc_gitem_row .vc_gitem-col {
       padding: 0px;
    }

    4. Sorry, but this is Visual Composer editor and if there is no such option in the settings for it then you don’t have such possibility.

    5./6. Please give us access to WP Dashboard.

    7. Sorry, but there is no such option.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    I have activated the child theme and added the two pieces of code you mentioned to the css.

    It does not seem to be working.

    I have provided the login info below.

    1 – Please find out why the code you provided does not work

    2 – I guess it is a visual composer issue, I want to see an option to add html to blocks in posts ( such as share buttons )

    3 – the code you provided does not work – I need the minimum possible amount of space between rows

    4 – I am willing to pay a developer to do this. If you guys can do it let me know. I will shop around for a good rate. I just used the icon from visual composer to show you where I want the avatar from the user to go . A dev should be able to do it quickly.

    5- log in info below

    6- can you add both category and up to 3 tags here

    7- again I used an icon to show you the location of it. I know the theme currently does not support that. Can we implement it?

    I will pay for the avatar and this heart(favorite) button as long as it is a reasonable price.

    thanks.

    Hello,

    1. I’ve added “!important” to the code.
    Please check the page now.

    2. Sorry, but there is no such option in Post Grid element.

    3. I’ve also added this code in child style.css:

    .vc_icon_element.vc_icon_element-outer {
       font-size: 10px !important;
    }

    Please check posts display.

    4./5./6. Please take our apologies but it requires a lot of additional customization and it’s beyond our basic support scope.

    7. Sorry, but you have to contact some developers to make such customization you need.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Thank you Jack,

    Can you tell me where I can find the code for the “Blog Slider” that I have on the main page?

    Also in your opinion, how many hours would these changes take to make for a developer?

    Hello,

    You can find code for “Posts Slider” element in wp-content/themes/woopress/framework/vc.php (line 677).

    I can’t tell you the exact time, it depends on a developer, it may take 1-2 days.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

    http://www.sisterly.ca/

    1 – I need the iPhone image to stick to the bottom of the banner with 0 margin – How can I manage this?

    Phone

    That’s what I am using right now

    2 – I need to be able to play around with the margins for the texts on the same 3rd banner as well. What would be the best way to do that?

    3 – I need “Sisterly Shop” to be vertically at the center of the 5th banner

    4 – on the 4th banner, I have included an Add-This follow button. I can see it on visual composer on the back-end but I can not see it online.

    <!– Go to http://www.addthis.com/dashboard to customize your tools –>
    <div class=”addthis_horizontal_follow_toolbox”></div>

    Hello,

    1. Sorry, but your query is a bit unclear. Could you please clarify with more details?

    2. Please pay attention if you modify banner code it will affect other banners too, so you need to assign special class for the banner in Banner element settings.
    Please specify what exactly you want to do with banner text and which banner exactly.

    3. Sorry, but it’s impossible. Banners are shown in the order as you set them in Visual Composer editor.

    4. Provide us with correct wp-admin panel credentials.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Ok, lets try this again:

    How can I manage the vertical location of text and images?

    Examples:

    On the homepage at http://www.sisterly.ca/

    1 – Middle banner: push the iphone image down towards the bottom of the banner

    2 – Bottom right banner: need to be able to move the text up or down or specifically — place the text “Sisterly Shop” at the vertical centre of the banner

    Also

    3 – Top right banner: I have included the code but cannot see the follow buttons for “AddThis” (I’m sure you are familiar with this service)

    4 – I tried using “Londrina Outline” google font but was not able to get the outline effect on the font, I just got a solid font. Do you know a better way to get an outline font

    Hello,

    1. Please add this code in your child style.css:

    img.aligncenter.size-full.wp-image-18263 {
        margin-top: 62px;
    }

    2. You can modify the style code you’ve written for the banner in text editor.

    3. As I see “Follow” button is shown:
    http://storage8.static.itmages.com/i/15/1109/h_1447062474_7899619_9d46a06f65.png

    4. Please specify how you added the font and for which text.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

    1 – is that code for a specific image only? it says “wp-image-18263”

    What if I want to do this for more images?

    How do I find the appropriate “wp-image- …. ” number?

    2 – Can you please tell me what is the appropriate styling code for vertical alignment of text?

    3 – Please look at this part again.

    Here is the picture of the back-end : https://www.evernote.com/shard/s220/sh/4bfbb943-727b-4d3e-82c8-d2071cc654fa/52fecdd95ac83b263125d7387fbedd2a/res/490a0b72-973c-4776-aec9-d18afeb40413/post.php.jpg?resizeSmall&width=832

    You have access to the back-end so you can see it for yourself

    see those social sharing icons?

    Why can’t I see them on the web page?

    4 – on the same page – the last banner – for “Sisterly Shop” text

    I am using the google font family Londrina Outline right now but I do not see an outline around the text

    here is the styling part of the code im using before the text “Sisterly Shop”: <span style=”font-size: 46px; color: #ffffff; text-align: centre; font-weight: bold; margin-top: 0px; font-family: londrina-outline;”>

    Hello,

    1. If you want to modify specific banner then the code is specific.
    You can find the number inspecting the element you need via browser developer tools.

    2. In Banner element settings you have “Vertical align” field. Set it to “Top”.

    3. As I see you’re using 3rd-party plugin for social icons. Please take our apologies but we don’t guarantee full compatibility of the theme with 3rd-party plugins. Try to use icons from Visual Composer editor or use our shortcode [share].

    4. I’ve added the font in WP Dashboard > Punch Fonts section and written correct font name in your code.
    Clear browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    thanks.

    ————————–

    On blog posts such as this: http://www.sisterly.ca/post-1/

    How do I remove the “Click to Enlarge” link on the featured image?

    ————————–

    On the home page

    The middle banner with the light blue frame:

    I want the twitter feed to be longer in height but your theme will not allow it

    this is the code I am using

    <a class=”twitter-timeline”
    data-widget-id=”600720083413962752″
    href=”https://twitter.com/TwitterDev&#8221;
    width=”300″
    height=”450″>
    Tweets by @TwitterDev

    But your theme removes parts of the code

    How can we fix this?

    Hello,

    1. Try the following css code:

    .wp-picture .btn_group {
    display: none !important;
    }

    2. Use this css code to increase twitter feed height:

    .banner iframe {
        max-height: 500px !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
