I have problems to update xstore theme and plugin

    I have tried to update Xstore theme and Xstore plugin but the web page breaks. Can you help me?

    Hello,

    6.2.8.1 is the very old version.
    We would recommend you to create a staging site (full copy of the production site you have) and provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your staging site. We’ll update the theme and all the bundled plugins there. You’ll check if everything is ok. If yes then we’ll update the production site. In case you find any issues we’ll be able to fix them and update the production site only after that. It’s the safest way to update the theme from 6.x to 8.x version.

    Hello,

    You missed a few major updates and it was the reason of the issue. I have updated your theme to version 7.x first and then to 8.1. Anyway, if you need to update the production site then provide us with access to your production site if everything is ok on the staging site. But check the staying site carefully.

    Hello,

    We have updated your staging site. It has everything that you need. Does that work ok for you? If yes then just move the themes and plugins folder from the staging site to production and after that import Theme Options > Import/Export from the staging site to the production site to update that.

    Yes, sure. But make sure that everything is ok and works as it should on the staging site.
