Html5 full screen video on Revolution Slider – pixelated

Hi,

I have again problems with the full screen video on Revolution SLider.
I don’t know why (and I try everythings possible) I always have my video pixelated …
All the files are on the server : mp4, ogv, webm (and with a very good quality for a size of 2 Mb for the mp4 version), but the video is slow and also pixelated …

Some member of your team support says : we don’t see any problems; But I continue to see the video in a very poor version, and my client also (on all navigators).

Could you please take a look on it ?? It’s very urgent, as it’s a main graphism on the web site.

I really don’t understand.
What navigator you are using ?
It works good only on Firefox in my side. On Safari, no video (only the png image for the background), on Google Chrome the video is pixelated at maximum, same on Torch …

Versions of the navigators where I see the problem : Chrome 39.0.2171.95 / Safari 5.1.10 / Torch 25.0.0.4398

Here is the screenshot for the 4 navigator test on the same website, showing also the problem :

and the details of what you can see on :

1 – Chrome (pixelated) 2 – Firefox (working good)
3 – Safari (no video…) 4 – Torch (pixelated)

Did you tried all these nagigators also ?

We can forget the problem on Safari, as I don’t have the latest version (and I can’t update it …)
But I updated both Google Chrome and Torch to the latest version, and the video is again pixelated on these 2 navigators.

Hello, @ziloub,

Please, check your slider with default theme. If this issue is present with default theme too you need to contact with plugin author, because we can’t provide advanced support for third-party plugins included in our theme. Plugin author will be able to help you faster and if this is plugin bug he need to fix this in update, so you won’t face it again when update plugin.

Hi,
so finaly, as there is no really solution for my problem, I used the Vimeo video insert, and not the html5.
We did a lot of test, with many peoples, and all of them saw the video pixelated… It only works on Firefox, but not on Safari, Google Chrome, etc … (the most used navigators…).

Hello,

Have you checked the slider with default WordPress theme?
If the problems persists there then a bug is in slider plugin itself, not the theme.
You can refer to Revolution Slider forums to find some solution concerning the issue.
