HTML collapsible button in (mega menu) static blocks

Good morning,

Using a combination of XSTOREs theme builder and Elementor we have come across a certain caveat so we would like your help and expertise if possible.

So, our bottom header is the place where our navigation menu is residing.

Each element has a mega menu dropdown where a static block (edited with elementor) is used to show options regarding different product categories and sub categories.

Here comes the caveat, in an attempt to use an html collapsible button to show/hide some sub-categories and while the button works in the preview option while in Elementor the button doesn’t function the same while in the live website (clicking it actually does nothing – although inspecting the element shows the values inserted).

Is it because we can’t use collapsibles while in a static block dropdown in the navigation menu or is it something else that we are anaware of ??

P.S Testing the html collapsible button anywhere else in the front page worked ideally as expected.

What exactly menu item has a collapsible button on your site?

Good evening currently no sub-menu item has a collapsible button, since we couldn’t get it to work properly.
We can replicate it thought and procure temporary wp-admin access.

You added a static block shortcode into HTML block, which can’t work.

We added toggle text element as an alternative:

Thanks for the support, but can you check at the end of the home page, we have added the same static block with shortcode and it functions as expected.

Can’t we get it to work in the nav menu ?
