    Hello,
I would like to know how do I update a plugin when it exits update? I come in the site under the update in .zip and to update it I go to the Panel> Plugins> Add new> Upload the plugin.

But it does not update, it informs that the destination folder already exists …

To update I have to disable and delete the plugin with the old version?

    Best regards
    Rodrigo Macedo

    Hello,

Download the latest plugin version here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ , extract the archive. Then connect to your server via FTP, go to wp-content/plugins directory and upload the extracted folder with overwriting the current plugin version.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

But in this case, should I delete the folder of the outdated plugin before uploading or just substituting the files when prompted?
    Sorry for the work..

    Best regards

    Hello,

You need to delete outdated folder, just overwrite it with a new plugin version.
