How to switch WPBakery to Elementor and use the same design of the theme

Hi,

I have downloaded theme Xstore, which has automatic WPBakery builder. I’m used to and want to continue working on webpages with Elementor, how can I use the same template and design with Elementor?

I tried switching off WPBakery and Switched on Elementor for builder, what happened is- the whole site and design was presented in codes.

Is it possible to create with Elementor?
How can I switch on Elementor so that the design remains the same?

Hello,

Thanks for using our theme and for contacting us.
It is recommended to use only one page editor on site (WPB or Elementor). Do not edit the same content using both of them, because it may cause conflicts.
You can change the editor, but in this case, you will need to re-create all content, that was created using WPBakery, using Elementor manually. There is no automatic converter, unfortunately.

It is recommended to run import on a fresh WordPress installation. For this you can use WordPress Database Reset plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/ The plugin can be used to remove all the existing content and install a new version from scratch.

Hi! I don’t clearly understand- create all content manually. I havet created any content yet. When i bought the theme, and activated on WP it automatically came- the TEA STORE page. Now i would like to start changing pictures, texts, arrange blocks etc using Elementor.

When i open the page with elementor it will open up in text- codes only. DO you want to say, that I cant use Elementor for changing texts, fonts and content unless I manually create the whole design by my self?

What are the exact steps to start using Elementor instead of WPBakery?

Hello,

“it automatically came- the TEA STORE page” – it can’t be done automatically, you imported this WPB demo on site.
“When i open the page with elementor it will open up in text- codes only.” – yes, because this version was created using WPBakery. If you want to use Elementor, you need to reset the current content and install one of our Elementor demo versions.
“What are the exact steps to start using Elementor instead of WPBakery?” – please follow next steps:
– Install WordPress Database Reset plugin and remove all the existing content
– Go to XStore > Import demos > install one of Elementor demo, for example – https://prnt.sc/sayH5O4GuDy2
– after the import, go to Elementor > Settings > Post types, enable editor for products and static blocks, then edit content depending on your needs.
We can do this on your site. Provide temporary wp-admin access and URL of the desired demo.
