How to resize the shop page sidebar size?

Hi, I want to resize to a wider shop page sidebar where all the product categories, filters reside. In the customizers options, there are no option to resize the sidebar size. I want to make it 1/4 width of total screen/container width.

Hello,

But the shop page sidebar is set to 1/4 width of the container by default (3 columns sidebar + 9 columns products content = 12 columns layout). Could you, please, provide us with link to your shop page for better understanding and also provide screenshots of the necessary layout?

By looking at the css, the sidebar to product column ratio is 16% : 83% which is close to 1/5.
I can basically override the bootstrap css col-md-2 col-md-pull-10 to make it 20:80 or maybe 25:75 (1/4)….but if there’re any better way to do this in the settings?
currently is is running on localhost.

Hello,

There should be col-md-3 col-md-pull-9 by default. So, go to Pages > edit Shop page > scroll down to 8theme Options and make sure that sidebar size is set to default.
