How to link static block to the menu on the left

Hi
i have some questions

1. I couldnt figure out, how to link static blocks to the menu?
2. How to make that menu appear on website (left menu)? from where to select it to appear there?
3. Which menu actually works? (there are several places)
a) Posts>Categories
b) Products>Categories
c) Appearance>Menu

How do we know which one have you used and from where it comes?

Please let me know about it.

Dear Sir,

We have purchased YOUR THEME and we expect you to SUPPORT us well.

Please dont send VIDEOS everytime, or you must have mentioned on your page before we buy, we must know that we are paying to watch videos only.

Dont you think, i wouldnt have watched those 3 videos? (first 2 are very blurry, only 3rd is clear) Those videos dont explain well. They are super fast. We cant keep pausing and doing and watching again and pausing again.

Please WRITE here or let me give you access to our account – whatever is convenient to you. Please help us this way.

I even dont know, how do i link that menu as main menu (on left, where Department menu is setup)

Please advice thoroughly to know what is setup where. There are heaps of options that we get easily confused each time we look into them.

1. Navigate to the Dashboard of your WordPress site.
2. Create a new user account with an administrator role.
3. Share the newly created username and password with us via the Private Content area.

Hello

Thank you for your response and thanks for writing back how to do.

I will hand it over to you to make it work good, if i wont be able to do it. I first, want to try myself so i need to understand how it functions. So, let me try by asking you solutions and if i will still have difficulties, i will add credentials to private content area.

I have added PRODUCT CATEGORIES (and not post categories). The same way the product categories are added by you for ALL DEPARTMENT menu. But the problem is, i cant see PRODUCT CATEGORIES on left side under Appearance>Menu page. It only shows post categories!

Q1 . How did you manage to get PRODUCT CATEGORIES on menu page?

Q2 . How to make my newly created menu to show on website (left menu)? I want to replace ALL DEPARTMENT (theme menu) with my newly created menu “Gifts for All”. After giving solution to Q1, please tell me how to make it appear by replying to Q2 as well.

Please advice.

Hi

Thank you so much for explaining this so well

I have set it up as you guided in last reply but now the problem again

If you see, the submenu of the 1st menu goes on the top of the page and doesnt start from 1st position to downwards (it opens upwards)!

Why so! Your demo DEPARTMENT menu doesnt behave this way!

I have set up the menu item image for the 1st menu but it has set it up for the submenu background instead of 1st menu image itself

May I please request few more things as you already have credentials to login or do i have to open a separate ticket for the same? let me know please if i need to do so.

1. In your screenshot – https://prnt.sc/JEE9GBAS56Ik, if you see the width of the sub-menu is larger than the text (can you fix it?). Is that possible to give each sub menu their individual width?

2. Please check the THEME folder once, if you see; i have installed both x-store and x-store child theme. Then the child theme is selected as ACTIVE theme. Is that alright? Is that the right way to make this theme functional? If so, can you please see the version is right? if not, can you please update both the theme versions?

3. If you see here, https://obxgourmet.com/product/watermelon/ the product goes on right path but when we do checkout or cart page – https://obxgourmet.com/cart-2/ (please add an item to the cart to test), it shows the url with “2” attached and that means there are 2 similar url pages, so can you fix this please for all of such pages?

4. There is also a URL like this – https://obxgourmet.com/shop-2/ but i want to know why is that so? Can you please fix and get it away if its possible?

Thank you is the smaller word for me to tell you now.

You are helping really well. Now i feel, the purchase of the theme was right decision. You are well skilled and very supportive.

1. Yes, i check and it seems to be working fine for the width. But, if you see here https://prnt.sc/sHEhI1iDrHEh the top part again going across the upper part of the menu. See if you can fix it again please! It must start from the same position of the 1st main menu. (currently its going over the HOME | ABOUT US links)

2. Thank you for reviewing theme and i am happy that i have installed it right.

3, 4. Thank you so much for fixing it. May I please know what / where the issue was? (so, that i dont do anything in future that may trigger this issue again).

Hi Rose,

Everything perfect from above communicated points.

Just a little one left i believe.

Sorry for this new point. If you see the main menu, my text is not on single line. it breaks into 2 lines. Can you do anything in CSS so that the gap between image and text and arrow at last are little narrow to make everything fit into single line please?

I am back with few more queries to solve about menu.

Please have a look https://obxgourmet.com/

We have set up that menu but its different on mobile! Can we APPLY same menu to mobile too? (so that we update at a single place and it affects everywhere?)

If that is possible then its great as we have set up menu with appropriate images too (does mobile menu also support images?)

I think i have fixed it by selecting newly created menu for mobile settings. But the last problem is that its showing icons on the right side of the text (instead of left align). Please help for this.

Hi

We dont want any color behind the header and hence we removed background color to make everything white but all other text links and buttons are white now!

Could you please help me and get them all of this color code?

We also dont need the MENU icon between logo and search box (if i disable it, then it also disappears from mobile but we need it for mobile). Please help us like as always.

Hi

Thanks for your reply and a quick solution as always. I will take care of this to open a new topic for every new question.

Just last one related to this. if you open https://obxgourmet.com/ and see i have modified background colors of logo header and menu / social header. Now only problem is that the hover over color of the social icons are changing to the similar color of its background panel (horizontal box). I want to make them black when we hover over our mouse to social icons. Please tell me how to make it work.
