How to edit category & brand pages. Can they be edit via elementary. If no can I add a slider on these pages.

Hello,

These pages inherit layout of the Shop page, and can’t be edited using any page editor.
Please read this article – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/69-how-to-add-slider-banner-in-product-category-page You can add shortcode of a static block in the same way there.
