How to disable checkbox in filter menu??

How to disable checkbox in filter menu?

I went to Widgets > Shop Sidebar and changed query type from AND to OR but the checkboxes still dont dissappear

Files is visible for topic creator and
support staff only.

Please go to Appearance > Widgets > replace the “Filter products by categories” widget by the “Product categories” widget.

I dont want to filter by categories, i want to filter by attributes. Is there a way to get rid of the checkboxes without writing custom code?
