I was wondering if it is possible through the theme, to make a boy and girl filter, where I put the right products, without having to use a clear, preferred plugin.

Do you mean that you want to create categories filter or to create attributes https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#section-6 to be able to filter by them?

I want all products that are boys to appear, that is, contain blue or boy in the name, or neutral colors that can also be for boys, I would select it myself, I just wanted to know if there is a possibility to create this filter, if possible if it is a variable product, already the selected color

Hello,

You can create attribute Gender for example with terms: boys, girls. Then add this attribute with the necessary term to your product but don’t use for the variation. Then you’ll be able to use the Filter by attribute widget in the shop sidebar (Appearance > Widgets).

The problem is that my website has a lot of variable products, I don’t use brands, I was using this to create a filter, there is no testing process to know how it will work, but do you have any ideas that can help me?

Do you mean that you used Brand feature to apply it for products like Boy or Girl filter?

I am trying to use this feature.

I just want to create a filter where all products for boys appear in the store, the same for girls and neutrals, brands seem like a good alternative
