How to configure the search function to meet my needs

HI,
1.about the mobile version of website,I want to place the search function in the bottom right corner of the website menu, but it seems the search feature isn’t a separate page and doesn’t have a link, so I can’t find where to configure it.

2.when i search keywords on mobile,how to set the place holder msg,current is “search for products”,but i want to set it to “search for articles and products”.

3,On both the desktop and mobile versions, the search results appear as soon as I start typing a keyword, even before clicking the search button. I want to disable this feature and make it so that results only appear after clicking the search button, which should then take the user to the search results page. How can I configure this?

Hello @josephchan,

1. There is no separate page for search by default, but you can create one containing a title, a search widget, and an image. Then, you can add the URL of this page as a custom link in your mobile panel elements and select the desired icon.

2. To set a custom placeholder text in the search element of your mobile menu, please configure the text in the following option: https://prnt.sc/AgmV-_E6L3Xj

3. To ensure that customers view the results only after clicking the search button, you can disable the Ajax search option in both search widgets (the one in the header and the one in the mobile menu): https://prnt.sc/Y43gjLbAfaen
