How to change the order of the categories on the mobile menu

Hello,

We have a mobile menu where we chose to display the categories.
However, we noticed that the order of the items in the category menu doesn’t follow the order we defined — they appear to be sorted alphabetically.
How can we make the categories appear in the order we specified?

This is how we ordered them:

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.
I read the solution provided in another thread, but my case is the opposite.
I want the categories to be ordered by default in the same order in which they were created.
Currently, my categories in the mobile menu are sorted alphabetically, but I don’t want that.

Hello @Jennifer

Instead of ‘name’ you can use ‘order’ value to display the categories in Category order you set from backend.
$args['orderby'] = 'order';
