How to change links for social media icons

Hi! I am trying to change the links for the social media icons. The only thing I can find on it is from 2014 and it talks about having to change the code on the site to do that. Is that still the easiest way to do this? It seems like it should be something I could do in the static block for the prefooter, but there doesn’t seem to be an option there. After “Follow Us” There’s just a line that seems to be linked to #. Please advise. Thank you!
