How do you add addittional fields to the registration form

Hello i would like to know what file or files do I need to alter to add the additional fields to our registration form, so its not only the Email and username to login. Also when updating the theme will the files also be changed as well.

Hello,

To add more fields to registration form you need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php (find the section “! Registration Form”). After update your changes will be lost, so we recommend you to make modifications in a child theme or keep the file saved on your PC and after update you’ll be able to reupload it.
