Hi,
I would like to know how do I work on my template offline?
This is really bad to work on the template and everything is immediately online the moment I save.
My clients see my site at the same I am building it. It has no sense at all.
I don’t want my website to be online during the time I am building it. I want it to be online only at the end of the whole work is done.
I also want to know I do I do when I delete something from the template by mistake and I want to get it back?
Thanks
Hello,
If you don’t want to show your site to clients during development I would recommend to import one of the coming soon pages http://prntscr.com/e545np (Theme Options > Import/Export > Dummy > scroll down to Additional Pages Import > choose coming soon page from the list of pages.) After that go to Settings > Reading and choose coming soon page as Front Page. then all the visitors will see coming soon page once visit your site.
Or you may install maintenance mode plugin.
Or just develop your site on local host and move it to online server once you finish your work.
Regards
Hello,
I thought I had found a solution to my trouble, but what you’re describing in the Reading Settings doesn’t exist anymore. I want to show my coming soon page only wich contains a subscribe form, but all my website (which is under construction) is viewable by anyone who finds it. SO where has that front page setting gone? I can install a maintenance mode, but it’s kinda odd… and it doesnt solve my problem.
Hello, @oh.hey.sha
Settings > Reading are still in place http://prntscr.com/vz65n4 So, why can’t you choose the Coming Soon page there?

If I register the theme in the local environment, then I have no problems when I go to register it in production?
Si registro el tema en el ambiente local y luego cuando lo pase a producción, el registro no tiene problemas?
Hello Leonardo Quintana Buitrago,
Yes, 1 license of the theme can be used on 1 staging/local site + 1 live/production site = 1 end project.
Regards
