    Hi support team,

I just setup a blog for my client website, he wants to rename the breadcrumbs from “blog” to “news & resources”.

For example the breadcrumbs on the single post shown like this:
    Home>News & Resources>Category Name
    instead of:
    Home>Blog>Category Name

I saw in another post you were mentioned that we can create a breadcrumbs.php in the template folder of child theme. I been trying with few different codes but none working.

Can u help advice me on how to make it works?

    Hello, Cheyingtan,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

According to the fact you didn’t provide us neither the solutions you tried without success nor a topic where you read the same question – we can recommend you try one of the next ones:
1/ You can use Loco translate plugin for renaming “Blog“ word across the theme use-cases.
2/ Copy xstore/templates/breadcrumbs.php to xstore-child/templates/breadcrumbs.php and replace all “Blog“ words with the one you need “News & Resources“ → https://prnt.sc/au6fZMiMxDKg (example)

In case you will have no success even after those solutions, we would help you directly if you provide us admin+ftp details in private area content.

Hope you will find the one of previous solutions good for you!

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Hi, thanks for the reply!

However I’m facing another problem, now my breadcrumbs has shown as
    Home>News & Resources>Category Name
    using the child theme method.

But client feedback to me that when they click on the “category name” it become error 404. How do i fix that?

I leave the details in private area, thanks!

    Hello, Cheyingtan,

Settings > Permalinks > try to re-save settings, or https://prnt.sc/khX8vKb9dna8 and save then.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
