How can i update theme when i had a child theme already??

    Today i checked the theme in Appearance and clicked to update Xstore theme, but i have a child theme of it already “xstore-child-2018”. When update finished i noticed that the version of “xstore-child-2018” is 1.0 while the version of updated parent theme is 4.26.
    Is that means i updated the theme in correct way??
    Any comments will be highly appreaciated. thanks!!

    Yes, it is correct. Also, make sure that the child theme is activated on your site (Appearance > Themes).
