    Hello, Mariangio,

Thank you for choosing XStore as your WooCommerce WordPress theme.
Please watch this video – https://youtu.be/LgzC4iK-j6A

To enable the Classic Widgets Panel, please navigate to Theme Options > General and set the Enable Classic Widgets Panel option to On.

Then read this article also – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/48-widgets-custom-widget-areas

Check available settings in Theme options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page Filters.

Hi. Thanks. My products are only 1 color and 1 material in the variations so that is why I didn’t add any colors. Should I anyways add it on my variations to have the filter displayed?

    Hello, Mariangio,

If you wish to have a filter by color, you must have products that have colors and can be filtered.

We may be able to better assist you after we review your settings. Would you be able to provide us with temporary wp-admin access, if further assistance from our side is still needed?

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

Hi. I would like to add some filters with “tag” or “product type” or “color” but I do not want to add a variation as there is only 1color.
    How can do that?
I have seen 2 plugins but not sure how I can display them with Xstore?
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/filter-everything/
Or maybe you have something already built in your theme?
    Thanks

    Hello,

8theme – Product Status Filters does not require the creation of variations, and you can use it.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have the ability to filter by tags or product attributes if they are not used as variations.

You can use third-party plugins, but we cannot guarantee that they will work properly.

    Best Regards,

Please go to Appearance > Widgets > add 8theme – Product Status Filters into the Shop filters area and check the result.

    Hello, Mariangio,

Due to the fact that Product Status Filters works based on the default fields (discount, availability in stock) of products that always exist, even if they were not set for products, they are in the database, but just empty.

    Best Regards,

    8Theme’s Team
