How do I take out the two hover icons on the images on the grid portfolio
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/legenda/our-portfolio/?col=3

The fade effect is fine on hover over an image that is all I need with the image itself linked.

    Hello,

In the admin panel you should edit Theme Options > Portfolio and set “Enable Lightbox For Projects” to “Off”.
Let us know if you need more help.

    Hi Eva,
Thanks for that, yes one icon is taken out now – when I switched off enable lightbox option.
I am half way there now – you know, what I want to achieve is to have the image as a link with no link icons on hover at all. Just to keep the fade effect and have the image as a link, the fade effect is cue enough for users to know it is linkable. Is there a way to do this – my client is asking for.

    Hello,

Unfortunately there is no such feature by default. You can remove both icons editing custom.css. But such way image won’t be linked.
What you’ve described can be achieved only by additional customization in the theme files. If you have the required skills you may try to make changes in a child theme.
