Horrible website changes - by Baskakow - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Previously, I requested that they fix a linking issue and compatibility with a plugin. They went into the website and left it worse than it was. When placing the Offer filter in WP Bakery Builder (Products block), it does not work.

    Seriously, fix these problems now. I’m going to leave a negative review until you fix the bug, because it’s unacceptable. It cost too much to develop this website for them to ruin it like this.

    I really don’t understand how they can ruin so much a staff and a system that used to work perfectly. It is something unacceptable from every point of view, besides leaving the template worse than it was and on top of that they didn’t fix the mistake. A day of development wasted.

    Seriously. I hope they fix it. They MUST fix it. Because we paid for the extended support service for a reason.

    1) I’m sorry but a low rating does not speed up the process but just scales the situation in a bad way. Rating policy does not allow customers to use the rating to force an author to provide support https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031066291

    We hope that you understand that we need some time to help clients because we are dealing with a higher volume of support requests due to the new WP version release and major theme update.

    Our developers will be able to fix the issue with the compare button tomorrow.

    2) Explain the issue with the “placing the Offer filter in WP Bakery Builder (Products block)” in more detail. Provide us with link to the product where you use it, screenshot of the issue for better understanding.

    A day of development wasted.

    Did you waste a day just because of the missing compare icon in the header? Does it affect any other theme options that you may set up?

    1. We are not forcing you to give support, but we qualify that the support service has been bad, so far, because you have not solved the reported problems.

    In fact, you have created more problems that really set this development back, because we cannot deliver a project without the comparison feature and with a filter of products that are on offer that is not functional.

    I understand that this is a major upgrade and there may be bugs, but I believe that every release should be polished beforehand, instead of everything being “in the process”, because that hurts the development of the projects.

    WordPress and WooCommerce give advance notice of the release of new versions, give alpha, beta and RC versions, so that with time all the corresponding tests are performed. It is seen that they did not do it in its entirety.

    2. The filter so that only offers appear does not work on the website, due to the horrible changes they made to the site, in addition to installing a plugin that we did not request, since they could still access by FTP.

    Hello,

    1) Compare option works and you can use the custom SVG till the default icon is missing. All the other options of the compare feature work, do not? Our support asked you about access to pass that to developers, gave you custom code to change the color of the links. Our developers are out of the office, so they will be able to fix the issue tomorrow only and I informed you that you’ll get a response once they fix the problem. Why the support is bad? Just because we did not solve the issue immediately?
    But we clearly mentioned that reply times can vary from time to time and be up to 24 hours Monday – Friday and up to 48 hours on weekends, Sat-Sun https://prnt.sc/1gr5wdn Did you have a chance to take into account that information.

    Besides, if you don’t like our theme you can always ask refund https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and choose another theme that has better support in your opinion.

    2) I don’t know what caused the issue with the Sale products but it’s absolutely not the theme update. I have opened one of the products that you had in the list, pressed the Update button, and after that Sales element displays the sales product. So, maybe something was wrong with the DB after the WooCommerce plugin or WP update but not because of the theme because even default WooCommerce shortcode (if you tried that to test if this is theme or WooCommerce plugin issue https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/#section-9) displayed wrong products.
    Now I don’t see problem with that section.

    I do not want the template refund. If we choose them, it’s because we trust the work they do. That’s why we wanted them to solve problems so promptly. Now, everything works fine, in the case of the product offer filters and with the compare button.

    Now, everything is working properly, which we appreciate and I am sorry for demanding so much.
