    Hi Luca,

Every time the homepage loads, the video loads in a small box and then shows in full width (images attached).

The small width issue shows the video in a small box width which appears when the homepage loads, every time. This is incorrect, it should be full width as the “full-width video” image shows.

How can this issue be resolved because the video must always load as full screen/width at all times, please advise?

    Thanks

    Dear Ajaz,

We hope this message finds you well.

We have observed that the CSS stylesheets require a certain amount of time to load. Upon investigation, it has come to our attention that this issue did not occur prior to the recent changes.

It appears that the problem began to manifest following the installation of the cache system. In order to diagnose the issue more accurately, we kindly request that you temporarily disable the cache system and verify if the problem persists.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hi Luca,

I am not sure of what cache system you are referring to, please advise on how I can disable this please?

I presume that once this has been disabled, I re-open my test site via WP again and see how this behaves?

    Thanks.

    Hi Luca,

Sorry, I have no idea how to disable the cache system in WP. When I click on the flush option, this clears the cache and confirms it has been cleared.

If I need to be doing something else, please advise?

    Hi Luca,

Can you advise on how I can reduce the file size of the video?

I never had this issue with the previous 2 free themes.

    Thanks.

    Dear Ajaz,

We kindly suggest that you utilize an online video compression tool to assist with your needs. For your convenience, here are a couple of examples:

    https://clideo.com/

We trust that these resources will prove to be helpful.

    Hi Luca,

After looking into this, reducing the filesize reduces the video quality by over 50%.

Why is this an issue, I ask because as I mentioned before, I have used 2 free themes before purchasing this theme and I never once had the issue with the video and the speed of the website?

This sounds like Xstore doesn’t support video capabilities like mine, and I have also checked, The majority of the videos are similar to mine but yet function on websites with no issues like I am experiencing.

Please look into this because this is not a solution and how can I use video on the Xstore theme if this is not supported without placing limits from Xstore?

    Thanks.

I have changed my homepage to to load a much smaller video size which has lost quality and looks poor.

This I have changed to see if the difference in the video loading in a box and then changing to a full-width issue is resolved but this makes no difference but losing the video quality?

You mentioned “ensure optimal performance and compatibility and for a smoother user experience, does this mean that Xstore doesn’t support videos like free themes do?

Multiple sites use videos over 50 and 60mb, this should not be an issue. How can I use my video and not experience issues?

    Thanks.

    Hi Luca,

Login details are in the private content area.

regarding a video size of 5mb or less is impossible because this is a video of less than 3 seconds. I have tried this and it defeats the point of loading a video for advertisement and business purposes.

I also met with a developer earlier today, and they have confirmed that this issue relates to the script loading. It seems to load the script for the page/website and look at the full-width video container code afterward and then reload to full-width.

Please can this be resolved so that when the page loads at any time, it always loads the video at full width?

An example of this is also in the private content area. The complete page, style, menu, and video load together without any delays and full-width, at all times.

    Thanks, Luca.

    Sorry Luca, my bad.

Where is this setting, please confirm the steps to get to this?

Am I correct in saying that the option you have applied works on all pages even if I swap the homepage to another home page with a video?

This I will also change in theme options > homepage settings.

    Hi @Ajaz,

This option is for home page only, if you want to apply to other pages, you have to re-do the steps:

    1. Visit your home page, select Edit with Elementor: https://prnt.sc/SNnkgC6Oig2P
    2. Click on the Settings icon on the left hand side: https://prnt.sc/p70x0pCiM6Go
    3. Scroll down to Page Layout > select Elementor Full Width: https://prnt.sc/Gl8GSFklXPvA

    Hope it helps!

    Sorry Luca,

When I click on the edit with elementor which is on the option you show in the image or I can do this on the page in WP > edit with elementor, I cannot find the option for page settings and then onto page layout. Please confirm the exact option, and again, sorry.
