    Hi,

Since we updated an hour ago, we can’t figure out why our homepage is missing while everything else seems to work correctly and had not been touched yet.

Can you please take a look.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

After trying many things, we went back to 2.9.2 and it works without touching anything… then we updated to 3.0 again : same result, our site doesn’t appear but everything is managable in backend.
    We really don’t understand !

@saphiloche seems everyone is having this issue, developers have had weeks to sort this and still can’t get it right.

Well, I tried @M4BSyC’s method but unfortunately it still doesn’t work for us 🙁
No other solution than going back to Woopress 2.9.2 and Woocommerce 2.6.14 with few bugs but at least the site works.
Now it starts to become annoying and irritating…

@saphiloche I think I found the issue here so might be worth you checking it out or your developer / web guy if you have one?

It seems the problem is with the Woopress update 3.0, it seems to load more header information compared to 2.9 version, I had header info in my child theme so I removed this, so it seems that anything header related will conflict with the new theme update.

Might be worth looking at any additional functions you might have added, for now I have Woopress 3.0 working with Woocommerce 3.0.4

I do have some issues with the theme update that I need 8 theme to address though.

Also 8 theme documentation on these major updates could be better IMO

Thanks fot your feed back and your help. I also have a header file in my child theme so I’ll check your solution as soon as possible and will keep you in touch.

    Hi,

    Thank you so much !!
I deleted the header file in my child theme then I applied @M4BSyC‘s method and it finally works !

Again, thanks a lot for your help.

However I am disappointed by 8Theme’s attitude, who did not even tried to answer… nice !

@saphiloche Woopress only works with version 3.0.4

    Revert from 3.0.5 to 3.0.4

Go to the page below, scroll to the bottom where it says previous versions, download 3.0.4 to you PC and FTP to your web / plugins folder.

I had to prevent woocommerce from auto updating, you need to add code to your wp-config.php file to prevent auto update.
