    Hi,

My hosting has automatically updated WordPress on the site and I now see that the images on the homepage are not loading – which is the header slide and all the product images, neither is the instagram logo in the footer, under ‘about us’.

I haven’t made any changes on the website for at least a week so I can only presume its the WordPress update causing it. I have deactivated the cache plugin and cleared browser caches but still cannot get it to load.

All the other pages, categories and product pages are loading images okay.

Could you please take a look. thanks.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your Home page, please watch the video in the Private Content area. The problem is not visible for us.
What browser do you use? Maybe it is just a cache or additional extension of your browser. Try to check from another device.

    Regards

Yes I can see on your video that you can see it okay. However, this is not a browser cache problem. I have tried on Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I’ve tried whilst logged into the admin centre and again on my personal laptop using Firefox and Edge. All are the same, the homepage doesn’t load. Just spinning circles where the images should be.

I attach the admin login details so you can try on a separate page whilst logged in. As I said, i have also disabled cache plugins on the site as well. It is definitely a problem outside of cache problem.

    Please contact administrator

    Hello,

One of our dev team checked your site also, and he can not see the problem.

1/ we don’t see any problems regardless of logged in status or not logged in
2/ since problems are not visible, we cannot fix what cannot be seen as a problem
3/ Please send a video of the problem, how the Home page is visible on your side
4/ was it checked from other devices (PCs of your friends or colleagues)?
5/ if the problem is on your side – please open dev tools -> inspector and check the console (maybe there is some error)

    Regards

    Hi,

I have made a video of what i see when the homepage loads.
    https://gyazo.com/1f20c54bb42bb70a0726abe3cca57762

I have had the page checked on a number of browsers, desktop and laptop. On my Edge browser the cache and all history is removed on closing so I normally use this for testing and all changes can always be seen instantly.

I made the same changes/updates on the staging site but that seems to load normally. I do not understand what is happening, it it was just a cache problem then I would see it load properly on at least some devices.

I have asked two more people to check on PCs and mobile this morning. Both report the same error, spinning circles and no images loading. This is not a cache problem, or limited to my computer. It appears that o-one can access the site correctly.

    Hello,

Please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that does not come bundled with XStore https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins , clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problems.
    Let us know the results.

    Regards

I have already tried this but I think it is not any plugin error because I also have the staging site for testing.

I do not encounter the same problem on the staging site, but this has exactly the same plugins and has the same updates. It is an exact copy of the live site but it does not appear to have the same problem.

I have tried everything i can think of, multiple times but still cannot get the homepage to load properly. I updated Xstore this morning hoping that would make a difference but it doesn’t.

If you have anything further you can test, suggest or try please let me know as the website has been like this for a week now. Thanks

    Hello,

I checked your site and was able to see the problem, then I disable the Autoptimize plugin and the problem was solved, then I activated the Autoptimize plugin, but the problem is not visible now.
    Please try by yourself.

    Regards

    Hi,

I have just done the updates to Elementor, WC & your theme and it is still happening. I disabled Autoptimize last week and have no other cache plugins activated on the site.

Again, I done the same updates on the staging site and that seems to load okay, without problems. Have checked again on mobile + various browsers but still see only spinning circles on the homepage.

    Hello,

We’ve checked from different browsers and devices and do not see the problem, unfortunately. In this case, we can’t do tests to find out the reason of the problem.
Please try to contact your hosting provider and ask to check it from their side also. I remember that the last time to be able to see the error, I activated VPN, but now I can’t re-create the problem on your site even in this way.

How does it work when the default WC theme – Storefront is activated on your site? Are you able to see images on the Home page?

    Regards
