Home page post slider Excerpt length and vertical space

i went to Theme Options > Blog layout > Excerpt length(words) and set it for 30 words…. but i have two post sliders on my home page… one is fine, the other is showing much more than 30 words.

also, theres a huge vertical space between the two post sliders that i cant find out how to fix and make it the same size as the other vertical spaces on the page. thanks

Hello,

You can use “read more” tag for your posts. Please read this article how to show excerpts:

You need to delete blank rows http://prntscr.com/cip4kg

ok, deleted the blank rows and its fine now….

about the post sliders on my home page… no, i dont want to use the read more tag… i want the first first post slider to look just like the second one. with the “…” at the end of the excerpts.

so, could my first post slider look just like the second one?

hey, im not talking about the very first post, but the whole post slider.

so please take a look atthis image:

as you can see, it has much more than 30 words.

in another hand, the post slider below it is looking all fine

so i want the post slider who is looking wrong (first print screen) to look just like the post slider that is looking fine (second print screen)

Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
