    Dear Eight Them Team,

I have practically completed my customisation of the them to go live. However, I need your advice to resolve the following queries asap please. Thanks:

    1. Home Page Footer – About Company/ Contact information (Payment Icons) – How do I remove the 3 broken images after the ‘Discovery Icon’ at the footer of the page (code inputted as instructed in set up doc via static block/ widget method)?

    2. Checkout/ Cart/ My Account – How do I enable secure HTTPS and input SSL certificate (clicking direct links in header returns an error, unsafe or unable to reload page message)?

    3. Blog & Portfolio pages – Blog set up in grid format. However, side bar not showing even though enabled on post and page options (using Main Side Bar, 1/6,RHS option). How can I make the side bar visible please (side bar is visible on Shop page when enabled)?

    4. Portfolio page – Used theme options to select 3 column visibility option, however page only shows 2 columns after selecting & saving or shows 3 columns when 4 columns is selected (feature worked before, but no longer working and all left justified). How can I remedy to show 3 columns and centralise the page columns too please?

    5. Is there a widget or option I can use to add a ratings system for each image within each separate portfolio (I have 9 portfolios containing 10 images each. However, currently only showing one rating for whole portfolio group of images as a collective rather than each image separately)?

    Thank you.

    Yours sincerely,

    MthePro

    Hello Eva/ Robert,

I am about to update my Legenda Theme from 2.2 to 2.4. Please would you kinldy recommend:

    1. The safest way to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.4 and keep all my data – so the site is ready and unaffected?
    2. The best back up and restore tool to use with Legenda and Word Press theme (Visual Composer, Revolution Slider, Woo Commerce and a few other plug ins keep disappearing from the dash board even though they show in my FTP client database folder)?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    1. Here you can watch the tutorial how to update theme. Don’t forget to create a back up of your files and database.

    2. You can create back up with the tools you have at your hosting company.
You should contact them and ask how to make a back up.

    Thank you.

    Hello Eva/ Robert,

    Thank you.

The following plug-ins (and other newly installed plug-ins) keep falling of the site after installation and sign-out: Revolution Slider, Visual Composer and WishList.

I am having to delete the FTP plugin folder files and re-install the WP plugins every time I log in.

After the theme update I received the following dashboard message:

“This theme requires the following plugins: Revolution Slider, Visual Composer and WishList.
This theme recommends the following plugin: Screets Chat.
Begin installing plugins | Dismiss this notice”

Please kindly advise how to keep the plug-ins active on the site permanently.

    Thank you.

    Hi Eva,

    Thank you.

    I checked the site.
The problem was temporarily fixed. However, on a 2nd visit to the site the same problem occurred.

The plug ins keep falling off.

Please can you advise and help to source a permanent solution, so the plug ins remain permanently fixed and attached to the site.

I have pushed back the site launch as a result.

    Hello,

Please remove all existing plugin folders in wp-content/plugins and try to install them again.
If the issue still persists create a back up of the database and files and try to reinstall the theme. Please note Woocommerce plugin should be installed the first.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

    I have reworked the site.

The woo commerce was installed before the main theme.

A few topics I require your assistance with please:

    1. The portfolio I added to a page, keeps returning an error message of NO POSTS WERE FOUND!
The page was working well earlier in the day, but it is no longer functioning at present.

    2. The side bars for the shop and blog pages are all showing on the left hand side at the bottom of the screen, even though I set the templates to display on the right hand side only within the Theme options.

I am grateful if you would look into this and return a workable solution.

Login details in Private Content area.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I’ve created Portfolio page and it’s working fine.
Also please disable all 3rd-party plugins and check sidebar after that. Some plugin is causing the issue. You can disable them one by one to find it out.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

    Thank you.

I meant the Events page which was using the default template. My apologies.

    1. The Events page now appears to be operating correctly. Although, the created portfolio page does not seem to allow repositioning after a chronological page id is allocated.

It also does not disappear from the site page after sending the page to the.

I hope the Events page will remain functional after a permanent delete of the portfolio page.

I will review the effect of each plugin, to resolve the side bar issue.

    2. I am grateful if you would kindly confirm how to remove only the discover payment button from the About Company footer.

    3. As a thank you, please let me know if there is anything of particular interest on my site which I can provide more information about going forward or whether there is any content you would enjoying viewing on the site.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

That “Discover” icon is a part of the whole image located in wp-content/themes/legenda/images/assets/paypal.png. You need edit this picture with some image editor.

    Thank you.

    Hi Eva,

    Thank you for your message.

    1. Would you be able to confirm the best location to place the edited image once complete i.e. ftp folder location please?

    2. The Events page error has occurred once more, it returns an error message of NO POSTS WERE FOUND!

I removed the images on the page, because I thought that might help, but that was not the solution.

I will administer the plugin one by one check shortly as advised, after the weekend.

However, for the purpose of my beta launch on Friday, are there any other suggestions you can recommend as a suitable resolution please? For this I am grateful.

    Best regards,

    MthePro
