Hide the comments section on blog posts - by marquand

Hi there,

1. How do I hide the ‘Leave a Reply’ on the blog posts? I have disabled this on WordPress settings but it still shows. Is it only showing because I’m logged in and editing it?

2. Also, I’d like to hide the Category that shows on top. I know I can disable the heading, but I’d like the heading to show. I just don’t want the Category and meta to show on top of the featured image header.

Hi there,

The website is just being worked on so not online yet. You can have a look at it once it is online.

I saw another problem thought. I edited all the content of the blogs with our own but the exererpts that show on the Our Blog page just don’t change. Just shows the old one from the import. The image and title have changed though. I’ve tried clearing the cache and disabling the settings in Site Speed.

Edit a Post > Screen Options > enable Excerpt, then edit content here – https://prnt.sc/Pzipy6zc2EvV
This Excerpt area can look different on your site, but you should be able to find it still. Please try.

Thank you, that worked.

I tried this to hide the meta that shows on the blog list page –

.etheme-post-meta-data {display: none;}

But the name and share, etc, still shows.
